Since 1997, VINAVIL has been intensifying its drive toward internationalization by founding two companies to cover the North American markets: VINAVIL Corp. (USA) in North America, which has its headquarters in Deerfield Beach (Florida) and a manufacturing plant in Chicago, and VINAVIL Inc. (Canada), which has a manufacturing plant and an R&D center in Laval (Montreal). A joint venture was signed in 2001 (VINAVIL Egypt) with a manufacturing plant near Suez; MAPEI Group acquired 100% of the company with a view to further develop this important geographical area.
